Q: How do I enter the competition?
A: Visit www.childrenseyesonearth.org and create a profile. You must submit at least two images to enter – one image to illustrate the I Love Nature theme and another image for the I Fear Pollution theme. Captions for each image or series of images must be included. Please find further details on how to upload an image below.
Q: How old do I have to be to enter?
A: Anyone aged 17 or under (at the time of entry) may enter the competition.
Q: Do I need my parents’ permission?
A: If you are under the age of 17, you will need a parent or guardian’s permission to enter the competition.
Q: How much does it cost to enter?
A: The competition is free to enter.
Q: When is the competition closing date?
A: Entries must be submitted by 11.59:59pm (GMT) on 15 September 2012.

Q: How many images can I upload?
A: You can upload a minimum of two and a maximum of 20 images. You must enter at least one image for the I Love Nature theme and one image for the I Fear Pollution theme.
Q: How do I know the upload has worked?
A: After submitting your images to the website, you can review how many you have uploaded by logging into your account.
Q: Can I post a CD with my images or send prints of my images?
A: No, images can only be submitted online by uploading a digital file.
Q: Can I make changes to my entry once the photos have been uploaded?
A: No, once your images have been uploaded they cannot be changed.
Q: What are the prizes?
A:
- 1st prize: SLR camera, a laptop computer and a photo printer
- 2nd prize: SLR camera, an iPad and a photo printer
- 3rd prize: SLR camera and a photo printer
- “Your Choice” prize: SLR camera and a photo printer
The three prize winners, each accompanied by a legal guardian, will travel to Baku in Azerbaijan and participate in The Children's Eyes On Earth Festival & Exhibition, which will begin the last week of November 2012. The three winners will also have an exclusive photographic workshop in Baku with photographer, Reza.

Q: Who is judging the competition?
A: Entries will be judged after 16 September 2012 by a panel of Judges and an Advisory Board of photographic and art experts from around the world, chaired by photographer, Reza. The judges’ decisions are final.
Q: How will the entries be judged?
A: Photographs will be judged on their originality, creativity, photographic quality and relevance to the themes, I Love Nature and I Fear Pollution.

Q: Can I crop or edit my photo?
A: Only minor burning, dodging, cropping and/or colour correction is acceptable and you must clearly note what changes have been made in the image description.
Q: What size image shall I upload?
A: All uploaded digital images should be at least 1,000 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,000 pixels tall (if a vertical image) and must be in JPEG or JPG format. All entrants must be able to supply a high-resolution image, suitable for printing in media or exhibition display, if selected.
Q: Can I use an image that I have used before?
A: Yes, provided it has not won a prize in another competition.

The Contest is open to residents of all countries. Entrants must be aged 17 or under at the time of entry. If you are under 16, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s consent to upload images onto the Children’s Eyes On Earth website.
